Las Vegas Club- Opened 1920's. The Las Vegas Club was not issued an official gaming license until April 1931. Although similar to the Boulder Club it's believed that illegal gambling took place long before then. Its huge neon sign was a feature of the downtown skyline and was the tallest neon sign west of the Rockies for many years. This chip is rare with about 8 known. The "one arm bandit" chip is always in high demand among collectors. Most of these chips are found in bad condition due to there extensive use through the 1950's. |
