Sahara-Opened October 1952 by Milton Prell. Sold to the Del Webb corp in 1961. Often refered to as "the Jewel of the desert" by its builder and original owner, this classic strip property is still alive and well today. This second issue chip is one of the hobbies classics. The inlay picture just doesn't get any better. Probably only in circulation a few years as the Sahara changed chips often. This one of a kind chip recently changed hands for over $14,000. |
