Fremont Hotel- Opened May 1956. This was downtown's first hi rise and was the tallest building in town upon finishing construction. To this day it is still a busy casino in the heart of Fremont Street. Issued in the late 50's and used into the mid 60's this rare arodie mold chip was the second issue from the Fremont. There are thought to be only two known. One interesting feature about this chip is the three different solid color edge inserts. |
