$1 & $5 Silver Palace

Silver Palace-Opened 1956 closed 1964. Located at the corner of First and Fremont. Later closed and reopened as the Carousel, the club changed owners numerous times over the years. The chips pictured are from the first issue and shows a great image of this downtown building. There is some debate about what the actual denomination of the beige chip is. In light of the fact that there are no known $25's, its possible that it could be a $25. However, many early Vegas dollars were white or beige, all signs point to it being a $1 chip. Both chips are ultra rare with only 1 or 2 of the $5's known in undrilled condition and only 2 or 3 known of the $1 in undrilled condition.
